Buffalo Brothers Guitars in Carlsbad, CA - Great, great guitar store first of all. Their tech/service department is simply a cut above any other place I've been. I go way out of my way to reward them with my business. Give them a chance, they are worth it.
Robert Keeley - The Keeley Compreessor, that's all I need to say on the matter.
Sweetwater - One of the best large gear retailers, when's the last time you got a call telling you that your order is shipping on time, or a call to say something has been back-ordered? Great service, great support. Plus candy in the box...sweet! (sorry couldn't help myself). Anyway, they get a gold star.
Mercury Magnetics - They make some fine-ass tranny's (no, not the Sunset Strip kind). Got an amp that you like, but it's just missing that something extra. These guys specialize in that something extra. Worth every single penny.
MetroAmp Kits - About the best value in the amp market today, you end up with about $3,000 worth of tone for about $1,000.
Steve Wescott - A good guy, a hell of a bassist and a snappy dresser. He's a friend of mine who helps out with TheToneFiles....how's that bass section coming Steve?

Dr. Guitar in Watertown, NY - Decent selection, mostly Christmas guitars, but the owner is an insufferable dick. Avoid, Avoid.
MXR Dynacomp - My worst gear purchase in 2007, hands down. My rig sounded so much better when I ripped this POS off my board and threw it against the wall. Shame on you MXR, there's no excuse for this pedal.
Most reissue amps - Most of these amp manufacturers want you to believe that these are just like the originals. They're not, many of them aren't even close. They look cool, some sound decent, but they do not last and there's so many great amps out there to buy before you sink to this level. Don't drink the cool-aid.
Pedal-Racks - True-bypass my ass, these things leak so much signal,...what a waste.
